Liturgical Guidelines for Church Wedding in Goa |

Dress Code | |
The
Church is a sacred place and liturgy a sacred celebration, therefore
due reverence to the sacred place and Eucharistic celebration is
required from one and all.
i) Dress modestly and do not loose morals. Wearing deep neck dresses, side cuts, dresses with open shoulder and strips/straps, T-shirts with various distracting pictures and writings should be avoided. ii) People wearing these kinds of dresses will not be allowed as animators, lectors and will be barred from receiving Holy Communion. iii) The Parish Priest has the full authority in this regard. |

Photographers and Video Recorders | |
i) The photographers and video recorders are to take ONE position on either side of the altar. ii) The are to stick to this position throughtout Mass, without moving towards any direction. ii) They are required to give NO instructions whatsoever, either to the bridal couple or to any other, as regard to the postures in view of filming of clicking of photos, once the Mass starts. iv) Only the bridal couple will be allowed to click ONE photo in front of the tabernacle or the Altar. Photos of parents, relatives and friends with the bridal couple are strictly prohibited in the Church. v) The Parish Priest or his deputy has the right to stop the photographers/Video recorders in case they fail to abide the above mentioned instructions. |

Decoration and Cleaning of the Church | |
i)
Adornment of the Altar for the sacred liturgy is encouraged. Care
must be taken while decorating the altar as to give a clear view
to the congregation of what is being offered on the altar.
ii) Cleaning of the Church BEFORE and AFTER the celebration is done by the concerned party. |

Church Compound | |
i)
Distribution of refreshments/snacks must be carried out in the place
allotted to it i.e., the band stand. Kindly see that a waste bin
is placed.
ii) It is the duty of concerned party to keep the Church compound neat and tidy. |
